That was a total waste of everyone's time

Seeing as how all of our windows are original to our house AND at least 4 of them are now nonfunctional, Zac and I decided to begin getting estimates on new windows so that we can be prepared to have them done.
Our very first FREE estimate was yesterday afternoon and I have to say I have never had so much of my time wasted in a single afternoon in my whole life.
A young man showed up over 30 mins late and put on a TWO HOUR presentation encompassing the quality of his company and the original patented features of his windows. He informed us of the importance in energy savings and the fact that even Cal Ripkin has put these windows in his home! About 15 minutes into this presentation we were able to determine that these windows were WAY out of our price range simply because of the length of time it was going to take this man to pitch his sale. However, despite our disinterest in his product, and our repetitive questions asking what the price for these suckers were, the man continued to go on and on.
He had all sorts of technological gadgets to show us the amazing energy savings these windows provide, several graphs and pictorals to demonstrate the "unlimited" warranty on his windows, as well as a binder full of information on the quality of his company. Holy crap it was the worst.
FINALLY at the end of the 2 hours, this man spends 10 seconds measuring our windows and gives us the super low price of just 18000$ to replace all 11 of our windows!!! When we explained to him that we couldnt afford that, he said no problem we can finance that for the next 7 years. When we declined that offer, he looked at us as disgusted as could be and said "So you mean to tell me that you would put a lesser window in your home because of cost???" I said "Yup, sure will!"
He concluded our meeting by making his "mandatory" phone call to his manager to report that we would sadly NOT be purchasing his windows. He and his manager had a depressing conversation about how unfortunate it was for all involved that we would not be buying their windows EVEN after they offered us a discount that brought the cost down to just 14000$.
Guess we just wont know what we are missing!
