Beach

We are still here! We took the kids to the beach for the holiday weekend. First trip and hopefully not the last of the year! I am about as red as a lobster so I will be sure to pick up some higher SPF sunblock (and remember to put it on) before our next trip down! The kids didn't get burnt though and had a great time when we flew kites for the first time!

Lucy is doing alright. She's been on a bit of a roller coaster here lately- with constant ups and downs, good days and bad ones. She felt lousy all day today, cried practically the whole day for a reason I have yet to figure out. Lucy claimed her head hurt, then it was her belly, then it was her legs....she couldn't make up her mind. I managed to convince her to take a nap in the afternoon thankfully. She perked up when she got a break from the pump for ballet practice this evening though.

Zachary is doing very well with his reading. He's not thrilled about anything else having to do with school recently, but hes really progressed rapidly with reading. He started the Harry Potter series a few days ago and has already finished the first one! Okay, shameless brag over!

I called up to Ohio to figure out if we had missed their fax somewhere or if a mistake had been made with her results and discovered we would have to wait up to a couple more weeks. Dr D is out of the country and has to prepare all the info himself to send down to our GI here. I understand that we are not the center of the universe, so I get we aren't number one....but I have no patience. I wanted to stamp my foot and whine about it.
