Zachary had his 5 year check up yesterday. I thought for sure he had put on 5 lbs and several inches this year, but NOPE....he actually didn't grow at all. Which wasn't the greatest news. Zachary has had a lot of tummy issues in the last year or so that we have thought we were getting on top of, but now I am not so sure. Our doctor was pleased that hes eating more but said a malabsorbtion issue could be causing a problem. Zachary also has somewhat poor muscle tone which could also indicate a malabsorbtion problem. His height and weight were both in the less than 15th %tile.
So its off to the allergist we go to hopefully get to the bottom of things. Zachary notoriously will live with pain and not speak about it so I really have no idea if hes okay or not. I will never forget the stomach virus he had last year. He threw up every 5 or 6 minutes and couldn't keep down a drop of water for over 24 hours. He never complained though. He laid on the floor, next to the bathroom watching movies. He would get up, throw up, and lay back down without a peep(he later ended up in the hospital with dehydration). Its just how he is.
In other news our refrigerator broke so we will spend our Friday night at Sears. And in other other news Lucy seems to be feeling MUCH better. I am so thankful for that!
Oh, and Zachary's appt is set up for the 7th!
