The picture is a little late

I know, the picture is a little late- but its Zachary on his first day of school last week. Handsome don't you think?

I haven't posted in a few days because we are all still adjusting to the Kindergarten change. It seems like our lives suddenly got incredibly hectic overnight.

His first week went pretty well. Its so hard getting used to not having him around. For the last 4 years we have had the same schedule everyday- Wake up at 7:30, Breakfast at 8, Lunch at 12, Nap at 1, Wake up at 4, Dinner at 6, and Bed at 7:30. Suddenly we have to get up earlier, eat faster, get on the bus and then the rest of the day is just me and Lu. Its strange.

Lucy's been acting funny and I am not sure if its a regular baby thing or her being her. She ran a low grade fever off and on all day long(which is usually a sign of her reacting to something) and has been absolutely guzzling formula. Shes eating nearly double what she typically would and when shes not drinking formula shes insisting on ice or water.

I have no idea if I should be expecting her to crash any day now or if I should just hope this will pass on without a problem. Last year it was around this time that things slowly began to take a turn for the worse and Lucy stopped tolerating her formula and medications. It was a long long long fall and winter last year. I am so hoping to not have to repeat it again this year.
