We went away over the weekend. My husband's family and friends rent a cabin and go skiing every year. Lucy and I usually don't go, simply because I always worry she isn't well enough, but we decided to go ahead this year. I am so glad we did, it was great!
The kids love being in a houseful of people and just lounging around. The house was absolutely beautiful! Lucy took a "swim" the the jacuzzi bathtub everyday. The weekend was just what we needed, I think. There's nothing like staying up late with family and friends laughing and having a good time!
But its back to reality. Today we get unpacked, catch up on laundry and school, and restock the fridge!
