Its been a few days since I posted, we have just been so occupied here.
But first- did anyone get that 170$ credit on their BG&E bill?? Whoo hoo! That was nice! Our bill was just 18 bucks this month and it couldn't have come at a better time. We are heading off to the beach for a family vacation next weekend and need to hit the outlets for fall clothing for the kiddies.
Next- Lucy's discovered that our garbage can contains lots of "yummy" treats so she has been foraging for goodies anytime I forget to put the can up on the kitchen counter. The other day she got ahold of some lettuce and actually ate some before I noticed. I braced myself for a messy kiddo for the next few days, but nothing happened! I was shocked and pleasantly surprised. Our specialist at Hopkins suggested that if something like this were to happen, to just run with it and trial whatever it was she got into. So I offered her a small bit of lettuce just once a day...but, by day 3 it was diarrhea all over the place. So, no lettuce for Lu. :(
I actually had been optimistic we would get to keep lettuce, and that Lu would finally have something to munch on while the rest of us eat. I really really thought she was going to pass this one. I mean, really, what the heck about lettuce is complicated??? Its mostly water I am sure. Grr, I am just so disappointed for Lu!!
